One person builds it, runs it and answers.
RedCyfer is Chris Woodall, an infrastructure engineer in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He works remotely with businesses nationwide.
Who you deal with
Everything on this site is built and run by the same person who answers your call. There is no sales team.
Chris also trains working German Shepherds. That is why DogSport USA exists: he built the platform because he was the customer. If you run a kennel, a club or a shop, he has probably built something close to what you need.
Why one person
Most small businesses cannot justify a full IT team. They end up with a web designer, a hosting company, a network installer and a payments consultant who do not talk to each other.
RedCyfer does all of those jobs. The parts fit together, and there is one number to call when they do not.
RedCyfer is small on purpose. Chris does not take on more clients than he can look after. If he cannot do your job properly, he will say so and tell you who can.
How we work
- DirectYou get honest pushback when an idea is not worth building.
- MaintainablePractical solutions over trendy ones. We have to support them afterward.
- TransparentYou get the reasoning, not just the invoice. Work outside what was agreed is priced in writing before it starts.
- OwnedSelf-hosted and standards-based where it counts, so you are not locked in.
What happens when you start
- A call before anything is touchedYou say what is broken. Chris says what he would do about it, in plain words.
- He does the movingThe site, the domain settings, the security certificate, the email records, the redirects from old links. If he needs something from you, he asks once and tells you where to click.
- What was already wrong gets fixedEmail records that never passed, a backup that stopped running, a form that sends to an inbox nobody reads. Found during setup, fixed during setup.
- Nothing goes live until it is checkedThe site loads on the new host, mail arrives at Gmail and Outlook, and a backup has been restored as a test, before the old system is switched off.
- You are told when it is doneOne message, with what changed and what to expect.
After that you deal with a person, by name, who already knows how your setup is put together.
