Stuck? Let's look at it together.

Support for RedCyfer customers, and one-off help for businesses that are not customers yet. You reach Chris, the person who set your systems up.

Start a live session

Chris meets you in a private video room in your browser. Show him the problem on your screen and fix it together. Nothing to download, nothing to install.

Hours and how to reach Chris

Support hours are 9 to 5 Central, Monday to Friday.

Not urgent? Book a time instead or send a message.

Anything outside your plan is priced in writing before the work starts. You will never get an invoice you have not already agreed to.

How a live session works

  1. Say what is wrongA sentence or two is plenty. When you press start, Chris is notified.
  2. Wait in your private roomYou land in a single-use video room. Chris joins from his end during support hours.
  3. Share your screen when you are readyYou choose if and when to share, and exactly which window. Chris can see. He can never click, type or control anything. Stop sharing or leave whenever you like.

When Chris needs to take the controls

Sometimes it is faster if Chris fixes it directly. For that we use AnyDesk. The connection is encrypted, nothing starts until you allow it, you watch everything he does, and closing the window ends his access there and then. Only ever used live, with you on the phone.

  1. Get itGo to anydesk.com/download and take the version for your computer. On Windows you can just run the file that lands in your Downloads folder. It does not have to be installed. On a Mac, open the downloaded file and drag AnyDesk across when it asks.
  2. Open itUnder Your Address there is a number, nine or ten digits, something like 123 456 789. Read that out to Chris.
  3. Let him inA box appears on your screen asking whether to allow the connection. Click Accept. Nothing happens until you do. If you never click it, he never gets in.
  4. When you are doneClose the AnyDesk window and the session ends immediately. If you would rather it was not left on the machine, delete the file you downloaded. On Windows that is all there is to remove.

The first time on a Mac, macOS will ask you to tick AnyDesk under System Settings, Privacy & Security, for Accessibility and Screen Recording. That is your Mac asking your permission, not AnyDesk helping itself.
